The Traditions of Golf youth golf team will host a bottle and can drive Saturday, June 29 from 9 a.m. to noon in the parking lot at the 18 Mile Creek Golf Course in Hamburg to raise money to offset costs for its upcoming trip to Richmond, Va.
The team is under the direction of the Town of Hamburg Department of Youth, Recreation and Senior Services and plays at the 18 Mile Creek Golf Course.
The young golfers will travel to Richmond to compete in the Traditions of Golf National Tournament in early August. “This tournament is a fun event where healthy competition and the traditions of the game of golf are highlighted,” said Recreation Supervisor Luke Sullivan. “It affords a great opportunity for our players who have worked hard and come up through the ranks of our youth golf program to positively represent themselves, the Town of Hamburg and 18 Mile Creek Golf Course.” For more information, please call the Recreation Office at 646-5145.
