Hamburg chamber hosts special breakfast

HAMBURG — The Hamburg Chamber of Commerce will be hosting a special breakfast presentation featuring Erie County Commissioner Maria Whyte and Deputy County Executive Rich Tobe. Join the Hamburg Chamber on Thursday, Nov. 7 at Ilio DiPaolo’s Restaurant, located at 3785 South Park Ave. in Blasdell. Checkin will begin at 8 a.m. with breakfast and a program at 8:30 a.m. and a question-and-answer session to follow.
Learn more about the 12 areas of the local economy in which the county executive's office has said it believes county government can have a major impact: Workforce development; smart growth; entrepreneurship; agriculture, tourism, energy, bi-national logistics, reform and enhancement of the Erie County Industrial Development Agency, international trade, land development and redevelopment; quality of life and the "blue" economy that utilizes the area's water supply. In those 12 areas, the county team and their partners have identified 64 initiatives that they feel can produce good results.
