HAMBURG — The faculty members at Erie 1 Boards of Cooperative Educational Services Potter Career & Technical Center have selected Jesse Gibbins, a Hamburg High School senior, as their featured student of the month.
Gibbins is currently enrolled in BOCES’ culinary skills II program with instructor Joseph Borgisi.
The BOCES administrators said that they selected Gibbons because of his increased effort and attention to detail and as a result. They said that the quality of his work continues to become “more and more impressive.”
“Jesse has a bright future in the field of culinary,” said Lucas Vogel, assistant principal of the Potter Career & Technical Center.
Gibbins said that, after graduation, he will enter the food service field and work for a year, before enrolling in the Niagara Falls Culinary Institute. He added that his future plans include an advanced culinary degree and the operation of his own business.
