Southtowns Catholic School has field trip to Buffalo City Hall

On Jan. 29, Lori McIntyre’s and Jennifer Hill’s third and fourth grade classes went on a field trip to the Buffalo City Hall.

Students got to meet Mayor Byron Brown and see the beautiful architecture of the building.

They were told about the history of the building and Brown was kind enough to answer every question that the kids could think of.

The group was even invited into a Common Council Meeting and got to see the government in action.

After, they had lunch at Taki’s, then it was back to school.
