HAMBURG — The Fairgrounds Festival of Lights in Hamburg will be open for one more weekend. Tour the local light show Friday – Sunday, Dec. 27 – 29, the last open weekend of the Festival of Lights. The gates will be open from 5 – 9 p.m. and the buildings will remain open until 10.
Individuals may visit the festival by the carload or busload. A discount off of the gate price is available with an original receipt from Tops Friendly Markets; present this at the gate.
Admission to the Fairgrounds Festival of Lights includes a drive through all-new LED light displays. Guests may then park their cars and stroll down the expanded 42nd Street. Kids can play an interactive game at the Christmas tree forest or be a contestant at a kids game show.
Erie County Fair regular Nels Ross will perform magic variety shows, and holiday gifts may be created in the Tops Winter Wonderland Workshop. An all-new animated light show will be held in the woodcarvers building.
For an additional cost, take a reindeer carriage ride, decorate a holiday cookie, snack on concessions, ride the rides on Santa’s Magical Midway or warm up around the fire pit, with a hot beverage.
Guests can check out the winners of the “Drug Free New Year” artwork and poetry contest, visit a 35-foot tall Christmas tree and take the pledge to never drive impaired.
