Dr. Joseph Battin Jr.
HAMBURG — Dr. Joseph Battin Jr. was recently named one of Western New York’s “30 under 30.”
The award, administered by Buffalo Business First, is given to 30 professionals who the publication said have demonstrated exceptional achievement in their workplaces and communities.
Battin, 29, is an optometrist with degrees from Syracuse University and Illinois College of Optometry. He is a partner in Battin Eyecare, which has offices in South Buffalo and Hamburg.
According to Business First, Battin was named to the list, due to his professional performance, his dedication to the local communities and the fact that BBF said the optometrist displays the hallmarks of a young professional ready to become a leader in the WNY business community.
Dr. Lindsay May, another optometrist at Battin Eyecare, said, “We’re all very proud of Dr. Joe. He works very hard and the whole staff respects his vision for the practice. He wants to make a positive impact in the lives of our patients and our community, and I’m so happy that Buffalo Business First recognized his dedication.”
Battin said, “I’m thrilled to be recognized by Buffalo Business First and I can’t thank them enough. I take a lot of pride in doing the best I can for my patients and I firmly believe that any business is only as strong as the community that surrounds it.”
Both Battin Eyecare offices are currently accepting new patients.
