Saint Francis High School of Athol Springs announced its annual Summer Enrichment Program, to be held in three, one-week sessions from July 7-25 at the school campus on Lake Shore Road. The program is open to boys entering sixth, seventh and eighth grade in the fall.
Each morning, all students will participate in four, 50 -minute enrichment classes. These classes are designed to be both fun and educational. Classes may include: art, tie-dye T-shirts, science, students versus wild, interactive math games, technology and flash game creation.
Different classes will be available each week. Fridays will be field trip days and will feature a different activity each week.
In the afternoons, students can choose their activity from traditional sports, including a hockey clinic the week of July 21 or interactive activities.
The hockey mini-clinic will include both on and off ice sessions. Some previous experience will be required, for enrollment in the ice hockey mini-clinic. There is an additional fee for hockey.
Students entering the eighth grade can take advantage of the Red Raider Success Pack, which includes one week of the SEP, the Entrance and Scholarship Prep Class as well as the Entrance Exam and testing fee, for a reduced fee.
