Middle school students at SS. Peter & Paul School in Hamburg recently celebrated π (pi)day on Thursday, March 14. In celebration of the special day, students had a “pi bee” in which they competed to see who memorized more of the digits of the infinite figure. First place winner was seventh grade student Abby Anderson, who memorized 77 digits; second place was eighth grade student Rebecca Sullivan, who memorized 51 digits and third place was sixth grade student Grace Gernatt, who memorized 47 digits.
