BOSTON — The town of Boston’s Conservation Advisory Council will host the annual kids fishing derby, beginning at 10 a.m. on Saturday, May 10, at the Lions Shelter behind the Boston Town Hall.
Two ponds will be stocked with bass, perch and catfish. Participants must bring their own poles, bait and tackle. Only barbless hooks may be used during the kids fishing derby.
Hot dogs, soda and ice cream will be available for participants.
Members of the Boston Town Board have donated prizes to be awarded during the competition again, this year. Nick Charlap’s donated ice cream.
