Angola Park Concert
On Wednesday, June 26 Angola Park and Gazebo Committee Summer Lawn Chair concert series will have a show from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Sunset Blue Grass Band will be performing American roots music with the Kickin’ Rhythm Cloggers, This event is sponsored by Shultz & Co. Hardware and Appliances.
Refreshments and handicap parking are available. In case of rain, the concert will be relocated to The New Angola Theater on North Main Street.
Blasdell Summer Park Concert
Easy Street Big Band will be performing at the Blasdell Summer Concert Series on Wednesday, June 26. The show begins at 6:30 p.m., is open to the public and free admisison. It is located at the JFK Playground, 2 Grafton Ave.
Madison 5K Strawberry Run/Walk
There will be a Madison 5K Strawberry Run/Walk on Saturday, June 22 at Brant Town Park. The event is sponsored by the 10th Annual Brant Summer Fest & Strawberry Jam.
Pre-registration is $20 and race-day registration is $25. Registration price for children under 14 years is $10. Race-day registration begins at 8 a.m. and the race starts at 10 a.m.
The first 100 applicants get a free t-shirt. There will also be youth heart screenings free for anyone age 5-25; the screening will include a heart health survey, blood pressure, physical heart examination, EKG and an ECHO is medically indicated. Screenings will take place from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. in the Brant Town Park gym.
Brant Town Park is located at 100 Brant Farnham Rd. (Route 249)
Buffalo Bills Booster Club
The next meeting of the Buffalo Bills Booster Club will be at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, June 25 in the Paul McGuire Suite at Ralph Wilson Stadium.
The guest speaker will be John Boutet of Buffalo Sports Museum. Denny Lynch will also be present with news from the Bills organization.
Pond Fish Stocking Program
Landowners looking to restock their warm/cool water ponds can place orders for large mouth bass and/or fathead minnows from now until Friday, July 5 through the Erie County Soil and Water Conservation District.
Distribution is scheduled for Saturday, July 13 at the District office in East Aurora.

Eden Summer Concert
Breakaway will be performing an arena rock concert Tuesday, June 25 at 7 p.m. at the front steps of Eden Elementary School for the Eden Town Concert series.
Each concert in the series will take place from 7 p.m. - 9 p.m. on Tuesday evenings during July and August. Admission is free and all ages are welcome. The concerts will be held on the front grounds of the school (Rt. 62 in Eden). In case of rain, the concerts will move inside the auditorium.
St. Mary’s Lawn Fete
There will be a lawn fete at St. Mary’s of the Lake this weekend. It will be a three day excursion of festivities. There will be a beer tent and live music each day.
Friday, the Heard of Buffalo will perform from 7 - 11 p.m.
Saturday Panfil Brothers will perform from 1 -4 p.m. and South City from 7 - 11 p.m.
On Sunday, the final day of the fete, Geno MacManus will perform from 2 -5 p.m.
The famous Chiavetta’s Chicken Barbeque will be sold on Sunday from noon - 4 p.m. or until it is sold out.
There will be casino gambling games for the older crowd and plenty of crafts and games for the children.
Everything will be under tents so the entertainment will go on, rain or shine.
The event will run as follows:
Friday, June 21: 6 -11 p.m.
Saturday, June 22: 12-11 p.m.
Sunday, June 23: 12-6 p.m.

Hunter Jumper Horse Show
Thursday, June 20 to Sunday June 23 the Buffalo Showtime Classic III Hunter Jumper Horse Show will take place at the Fairgrounds of Hamburg. June 20 and 21 8 a.m. & 2 p.m.; June 21 8 a.m.; June 22 and June 23 at 8 a.m.

Leadership Camp for Girls
The Be Healthy Institute will be holding leadership classes for girls grades 9-12.
Weekly classes will be held on Monday from 7-8 p.m. from July 15 till August 5.
Classes are free for all students and are sponsored by an education grant.
With the help of Ivy League students and local professionals, these girls will learn and develop their leadership skills.
The Be Healthy Institute is located at 40 Main St. #3 in Hamburg.
Benefit for baby Cole Kyle
There will be a benefit for Cole Kyle on Sunday, June 23 from 2-8 p.m. at Oakwood Manor in Lakeview.
In 2011 five-month-old Cole Kyle was diagnosed with Tuberous Sclerosis. His family and friends will be having a benefit and pig roast to help with the medical expenses for his brain surgery.
There will be Chinese auctions, raffles, live music from three bands (Lickitty Split feat. “Crazy Dave”, Midnight Soul, and Miachael Hund and Allison Janet) as well as face-painting and a bounce house.
3:30-5:30 p.m. - Mr. No the Balloon Guy will make balloon art
4-6 p.m. - a performance from magician Mike Seege.
Tickets are $25. Children 12 and under are free.

‘Crusin for Cats’ car show
The Ten Lives Club will be holding their 6th annual classic car show from noon - 4 p.m. on Sunday, June 23 at the Sunset Bowling Lanes.
There will be live music, a DJ, food, cash bar, open bowling, theme baskets, vendors, a silent auction, 50/50 raffle and more. There will be free refreshments.
