Couple weds in Hamburg

Mr. and Mrs. Paul and Kaitlyn Woodard
Kaitlyn Brooks and Paul Woodard were married at the Wayside Presbyterian Church in Hamburg by Bishop Thomas Reid, of The Tabernacle in Orchard Park.

The bride is the daughter of David and Jeri Brooks of Lake View. She graduated from Frontier High School and Cornell University, earning a Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Albany College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences. She is a third generation pharmacist and is currently working as an executive pharmacist at Target Pharmacy.

The groom is the son of Dr. and Mrs. Roger and Katherine Woodard of Buffalo. He is a graduate of Nichols School. He earned a bachelor’s degree in classics and mathematics from Williams College and a Juris doctor and master’s degree in international and comparative law from Duke University School of Law. The groom is an associate of Connors and Vilardo LLP.

The matron of honor was the bride’s sister, Jennifer Brooks Cohen. Bridesmaids included Angela Montaldi, cousin of the bride; Anna Brooks, sister-in-law of the bride; Renee Bapst, friend of the bride and Christine Rahme, friend of the bride.

The best man was the groom’s father, Roger Woodard. Ushers included David Brooks, the bride’s brother; Matthew Cohen, the bride’s brother-in-law; Alexander Wilson, the groom’s friend and Alexander Schumacher, the groom’s friend.

A reception was held at the Brierwood Country Club in Hamburg. The couple honeymooned to Montego Bay, Jamaica and Disney World©.
