Daniel and Donna Kogut of Hamburg are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Nicole Mary, to Joseph C. Bonczar, the son of Laurie Bonczar of North Collins and Joseph (Charlene) Matie of Hamburg.

The bride-to-be is a 2000 graduate of Frontier High School and earned a bachelor’s of science degree in criminal justice from Hilbert College. She is currently employed as a law enforcement officer.

The groom-to-be is a 1994 graduate of Eden Jr./Sr. High School and is currently attending Penn State University World Campus, majoring in business and pursing an electrical engineering degree. He is also the vice president at B.J. Muirhead Company in Orchard Park.
