HAMBURG — Town of Hamburg resident Angeline Carriero celebrated her 100th birthday on Aug. 17, with family and friends at a luncheon reception at Michael’s Banquet Hall In Hamburg.
Carriero, a homemaker, grew up on Buffalo’s Italian-American West Side neighborhood with her parents, eight brothers and one sister. She raised her own family in that area.
Her husband James died in 1965.
She is the mother of Roselyn Morgan of Orchard Park, James of Hamburg and John of Lackawanna. Carriero has 10 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
She is a cook and baker who still prepares meals and desserts for her large extended family.
She is a member of Our Lady of the Sacred Heart parish.
