LEGAL NOTICE TOWN OF BRANT ERIE COUNTY TAX 2012 Notice is hereby given that the Tax Roll and Warrant for County of Erie and Brant Town Taxes, for the year 2012 have been duly received by me. I will attend, for the purpose of collecting the taxes from all persons and corporations named therein, which are required to pay their taxes at the Brant Town Clerk's Office, 1272 Brant North Collins Rd., Brant New York in said Town on or before March 15, 2012 inclusive without fees or penalties. Penalties will be added after that date pursuant to chapter 812 of the Laws of 1942 as amended. All taxes paid on or after March 16, 2012 thru April 30, 2012 inclusive, add 7.5%. If paid on or after May 1st, 2012 the 7.5% penalty fee is added to the levy, forming the base of the tax due. Thereafter interest is added to the base at the rate of 1.5% per month on the 1st of each month. Unpaid taxes will be returned to the Erie County Commissioner of Finance on July 2, 2012. Bills may be paid by credit or debit card in person or online, check, money order or bank draft, through the mail or at the Brant Town Clerk's Office from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm on Mondays, Tuesday, Thursdays and Fridays. Other hours include Wednesdays and Saturdays from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm and on the 1st and 3rd Thursday from 9:00 am to 7:00 Pm. Additional hours are Wednesday March 14, 9:00 am to 7:00 pm. NOTICE F PUBLIC HEARING TOWN OF HAMBURG INDUSTRIAL DEVELOPMENT AGENCY PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Town of Hamburg Industrial Development Agency will hold a public hearing on February 24, 2012, at 8:00 a.m. at the Hamburg Town Hall, Room 7B, 6100 South Park Avenue, Hamburg, New York, to consider the following proposed financial assistance by the Agency. 1. LAKE ERIE COMMERCE CENTER PROJECT - request for Agency assistance by the Hamburg New York Land Development Corporation in the form of a lease from Hamburg New York Land Development Corporation to the Agency. The assistance contemplated by the Agency will include sales tax abatement on any materials and/or equipment purchased for incorporation into the project and non-standard real property tax abatement with the Agency to receive full tax abatement on all real property. The Hamburg New York Land Development Corporation (the "Applicant") requests assistance from the Agency to develop an approximately 126 acre parcel of land located on Bay View Road in the Town into a business park to be known as Lake Erie Commerce Center including making infrastucture improvements. The Agency will be the project occupant. The assistance will allow the Applicant to develop the Lake Erie Commerce Center as a location for businesses that wish to locate in the Town of Hamburg. As the Lake Erie Commerce Center is developed, the Applicant anticipates that substantial employment will be created but until occupants are identified no specific employment numbers can be provided. The Project will be leased to the Agency which will be the occupant of the Project. The Agency will present information relative to this project and application at the hearing. Persons interested may attend and will be given an opportunity during the hearing to make statements. Also written comments may be submitted to the Agency at or before the hearing. LEGAL NOTICE TOWN OF NORTH COLLINS ERIE COUNTY TAX 2012 Notice is hereby given that the Assessment Rolls and Warrant for the Town of North Collins and the County of Erie for the year 2012 have been received by me and that all persons and corporations named therein are required to pay the taxes on said rolls. On all taxes paid on or before the 15th day of March, 2012, no penalties will be added, but penalties will be added after that date as follows: If paid on or after March 16, 2012, through April 30 inclusive, add 7.5%. On May 1, the 7.5% penalty fee is added to the unpaid levy, forming the base tax then due. Thereafter, interest is added to the base at the rate of 1.5% per month on the first of each month, making 18.78% in all, when unpaid taxes are sold in November.
