TOWN OF HAMBURG, ERIE COUNTY, NEW YORK HOWARD ROAD CULVERT REPLACEMENT CONTRACT NO. 6 NOTICE TO BIDDERS Sealed Bids for the Howard Road Culvert Replacement in the Town of Hamburg, Erie County, New York, for the Town of Hamburg will be received from bidders by the Town Clerk, or her designee, at her office in the Town Hall, 6100 South Park Avenue, Hamburg, New York 14075 on or before 11:00 AM Local Time, on Wednesday, March 31, 2010 at which time they will be publicly opened and read aloud. All bid deposits, except that of the successful bidder, will be returned. Upon acceptance of his bid, if the successful bidder fails to enter into a contract pursuant to the requirements of the Town, or fails to give the further security prescribed in this notice, within the time limited therein, then the check deposited as aforesaid and the moneys standing to the credit of same, shall be forfeited to the Town as liquidated damages, or the payment of the bond enforced for the benefit of the Town. The Town of Hamburg reserves the right to waive informalities in or to reject any and all bids. As evidence of his competency to perform the work, each Bidder shall submit with his Bid a statement of his qualifications and resources.
