The Sun letter to the editor: Business owner sets the record straight

Editor:
There has recently been some confusion over an incident where there was a fight between some young boys in the village of Angola.

I am concerned because some patrons have gotten the wrong idea, due to some news articles that apparently left the impression that the fighting took place at the Taste of the Midway in the village and are concerned about letting their children go there now.

To set the record straight, there has never been any fighting of any kind here and I would never allow it. I do my best to provide a safe, family-friendly venue, and we did not even learn of this “fight” until several days later, when the story was in The Buffalo News.

I understand it actually took place on Commercial Street near the train tracks and

nowhere near us.

I work several jobs to continue my renovation work here, and I think everyone will be pleased with the upcoming improvements we will be making, and don’t want this issue to linger in anyone’s minds.

Angola’s Taste of the Midway was built for the people of the village and area to enjoy, without costing them a lot of money.

Please don’t let gossip or misinformation keep you or your kids from enjoying what we offer. We are unique and you won’t find what we do here, in any other town.
