Annual Snowshoe Softball Tournament a success
Editor:

The seventh Annual Snowshoe Softball Tournament was a great success again this year, raising over $11,000 for the Boys & Girls Club of Springville in very frigid temperatures. The day started at 8 a.m. with eight teams getting used to walking (and running) in snowshoes and ended around 4 p.m. with our champions, for the second year, Straightline Mason Contracting! Thank you to the eight teams who competed in this unique event: West Valley Environmental Services, LLC, Emerling Ford-Mercury and Emerling Chevrolet, Quality Inspection Services LLC, Flexovit Abrasives, Horschel Brothers Precision LLC, Julie’s Pizzeria, B&B Homes and of course, our champions, sponsored by Straightline Mason Contracting.

This year a home run derby was added to the day’s activities, with 14 entrants taking their best shot. Mark Glass was our home run derby champion.
