HAMBURG — The Western New York Health Expo, now in its seventh year, will return to The Fairgrounds Event Center on Sunday, April 6. More than 65 local vendors will be in attendance and screenings will be available for various conditions, in addition to appearances by guest speakers.
Promotions Coordinator Danielle Jensen reported that “we probably have a 60 percent return rate from last year,” in terms of the vendors. She added that this exposition is intended for people of all ages and that there will be attractions for children, adults and seniors alike.
Children may take advantage of a bounce house from Bounce USA. The National Center for Missing and Exploited Children will be in attendance, as well. A digital ID card may be created, utilizing children’s photos and fingerprints.

New to the health expo this year will be the Roswell Park Bio Bus, which collects samples for the BioRepository.
Provided by the State University of New York at Buffalo, the on-site “S-Miles to Go” mobile dental unit, an on-wheels clinic, will be equipped with a panoramic X-ray and digital radiography.
Blood pressure screening will be provided at the AccelCare booth, and spinal screenings may be utilized at the Disc Doctor, New York Chiropractic College or the Universal Chiropractic booths.
Father Paul Seil, who hosts WKBW’s “Our Daily Bread,” a cooking show where he also teaches the message of Jesus, will be the day’s special guest.
For those in need of American Sign Language services, sign language interpreters will be available, throughout the day.
According to Jensen, seminars and demonstrations will take place, every half hour.
The schedule is as follows: strength and balance for all ages presented by Elderwood at 11:30 a.m.; Weight Watchers at noon; Isagenix with Laura Lautner at 12:30 p.m.; a cooking demonstration from Seil at 1 and a yoga instruction from the Western New York Holistic Nurses Association at 2.
