The Character Council of Western New York will have youth programs featured during the 5th Annual “Creating a Culture of Character” Conference Wednesday, March 13 (High School) and Friday, March 15, (Middle School).
Registration is open until Friday, March 1.
Champions for Change is a leadership program that encourages youth to take a stand for character excellence. This full-day program formalizes a youth component to champion good character, encouraging youth to help lead the charge for “Creating a Culture of Character” through the initiation of character councils within their middle and high schools. The focus is to give a voice to teens regarding the expectation to strive for character excellence, thereby encouraging youth to become genuine character mentors.
The target audience is Teams of middle (grades 6-8) and high (grades 9-12) school students and their advisors. The first team of 4 students and 1 advisor from each school may attend for free.
Registration form and more information about this and all other conference seminars can be found at charactercouncilwny.org/events.
