Firefighter training in Hamburg

A nearly 200-year-old house at 103 Buffalo St., in the Village of Hamburg, was used Monday night (July 15) for training purposes by the Hamburg Volunteer Fire Department after the house was donated by the Hamburg Village Veterinary Clinic for such use. The home is coming down with the intention of using the property as part of a new state-of-the-art facility by the veterinary clinic in the future.

Pictured, top, a Hamburg Volunteer Fire Department fire truck arrives for the training Monday, while in the bottom photo, members of the fire department prepare to enter the building to begin the training.
