WORK OF ART — A first-grader at Pinehurst Elementary named Sara created this work, titled “Field of Poppies Landscape.”
HAMBURG — On May 5, New York State Assemblyman Sean Ryan congratulated to students in the Frontier Central School District who recently displayed their artwork at an exhibition at the Albright-Knox Art Gallery in Buffalo. The exhibition was held from April 1-April 27.
Assemblyman Sean Ryan said, “It is with great pride that I acknowledge and congratulate students at the Frontier Central School District, and the art department of the district, who recently displayed the artwork of their kindergarten through 12th grade students in the Albright-Knox Art Gallery’s Education Exhibition Hallway.”
Artwork was created with and exhibited by the following teachers: David Carlson, Nicole Haberer, Brian Hartnett and Nancy Vernale at Frontier High School; Steve Csati and Scott Garvey at the Frontier Middle School; Peggy Pylypciw at Blasdell Elementary; Debra Townsend at Big Tree Elementary; Julie Szczerbacki at Cloverbank Elementary; Laura Glista at Pinehurst Elementary; Elaine Turner at Cloverbank Elementary and Pinehurst Elementary and Kelly Weber at Blasdell Elementary, Big Tree Elementary, and Pinehurst Elementary.
“Through this exhibition, Frontier art students were able to exhibit their work and creative talents at a distinguished level. Every student who was involved in the Albright-Knox Art Gallery’s Education Exhibition Hallway should be commended for their talents,” Ryan continued. “I thank the staff at the Albright-Knox and the Frontier Central School District for offering this unique experience to display the work of these great students. Congratulations!”
