Executive director search underway

The Southtowns Community Enhancement Coalition, Inc., a not for profit organization representing nine communities in Southern Erie County, is currently seeking to contract with a professional to serve as the Executive Director for the organization. The position will initially be part-time with the potential to develop into a full-time position in the future.

The Executive Director’s responsibilities will include: work with the board of directors to implement the Coalition’s tourism action plan; develop a marketing plan to publicize the activities of the organization, its programs and goals; and, assist with the research and development of grant proposals and capital campaign efforts.

The Coalition is looking for a candidate with good communication and administration skills and experience in business development, community planning, non-profit operational and financial management, or related areas.
