KENMORE - The Ken-Ton Parent Association plans to present their Ken-Ton Closet initiative at the Village of Kenmore board meeting on Feb. 19 and the Town of Tonawanda board meeting on Feb. 25.
The Ken-Ton Parent Association created the Ken-Ton Closet last month as a way to organize donations of clothing (new and gently used), toiletries and school supplies and distribute them at no cost to children living in Kenmore and the Town of Tonawanda.
They have begun collecting and are currently developing strategies for identification of and delivery to children in need.
The Ken-Ton Closet is housed at the Sheridan Parkside Building, 169 Sheridan Parkside, Tonawanda. Donations can be delivered to this site between the hours of 3 and 5 p.m. or at a collection event.
Donations are not tax-deductible at this time. Cash donations are not accepted.
