In Good Company presents ‘Back to the ’80s’

In Good Company Productions will be present the musical “Back to the ’80s,” by Neil Gooding, in the David L. Miller Bandshell in Niawanda Park, Tonawanda Monday, July 29; Tuesday, July 30; Thursday, Aug. 1; and Monday, Aug. 5; Tuesday, Aug. 6 and Thursday, Aug. 8

All performances are free to the public and begin at 7 p.m. Bring your lawn chair or blanket and prepare to be entertained by a cast of 80+ performers, ranging in age from age 2 to adult, from all across the Niagara Frontier.

“Back to the ’80s” is directed by IGC President Melissa Tober. Music Direction is by Bethany Rarick. Assistant Director and Choreographer is Anthony Ward. Stage Manager is Katie Fitzgerald.

Set in William Ocean High School, “Back to the ’80s” is a nostalgic celebration in song of all things 30 years ago. Featured songs include’80s staples like Wake Me Up Before you Go Go, Kids in America, Girls Just Want To Have Fun, Material Girl, Footloose, Mickey and many, many more.

The cast of 80+ features teens Andrew Zuccari as Corey; and Conor Maxwell as Michael; Alex Nowak and Anna Heerdt as Tiffany (on stage for alternate performances); and, Grace Firzak and Ally Gray as Cindy (on stage for alternate performances). Joining them will be Nick Slingerland as Feargel and Travis Cunningham as Lionel. Teachers Mr. Cocker and Miss Brannigan are played by Scott Kaeselau and Erica Carter.

In Good Company Productions is a local community theatre group created to help kids gain confidence through theatre.
