Buffalo Zombie Mud Run registration now open

Registration for the second annual Buffalo Zombie Mud Run is now open. This thrilling 5k run takes runners through the woods and trails of the famous Great Pumpkin Farm in Clarence while being chased by “zombies.”

Each runner is given three flags to wear throughout the run while facing various obstacles and challenges throughout the 5k course. The biggest challenge of them all is avoiding numerous zombies trying to “infect” the runners by grabbing their flags. Those who finish the run with all of three of their flags receive a “Survivor Medal.” Runners that lose their flags to a zombie receive an “Infected Medal.”

Registrants can chose to run as either a runner or a zombie. The zombie group will also include professional actors and haunted attraction specialists.

More than 1,500 participants and spectators attended last year’s premier run. Participants are encouraged to register early for discount pricing and to ensure participation in the run. Portions of the proceeds benefit the Ronald McDonald House of Buffalo.
