Jackson Hewitt Tax Service is ready to help you with your last-minute taxes

The April 15th tax-filing deadline is tomorrow and plenty of Americans still have to have their taxes prepared. That’s why the Buffalo Jackson Hewitt Tax Service locations are happy to announce they are extending their hours and will be open until midnight Tuesday, April 15 in an effort to help all last minute Buffalo filers make the deadline.

“Filing at the last minute can be a big stressor for many people,” said Lynn Fischer, area manager of Jackson Hewitt Buffalo area locations. “Our extended hours are designed to help ease the stress and take away the worry of the final day crunch‚ and help accommodate those who may have difficulty making it in during the day. We won't leave until the last client does.”

There are multiple Buffalo Jackson Hewitt Locations that will be open until Midnight on Tuesday, April 15. For more information or to find a participating office near you, call 832-7628.

To help get ready, Fischer recommends that taxpayers have all necessary tax documents together. Take a look at the online checklist of items needed for filing a tax return that Jackson Hewitt provides to know what filers need to bring with them.

The tax professionals are ready to help and ensure Buffalo-area taxpayers avoid late-filing penalties, maximize their deductions and get the biggest refund possible. They can also inform about tax filing extensions to those who feel they cannot make the deadline.
