Easter egg hunt to be held at Pine Woods Park in North Tonawanda

NORTH TONAWANDA - An Easter egg hunt will take place from 10 to 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, March 23 in the wooded area of Pine Woods Park in North Tonawanda. This event will take place snow, rain or shine.
A general hunt for children ages 12 and younger who live in North Tonawanda or attend a North Tonawanda school will feature 3,000 plastic-filled eggs hidden in the park. Awards will be given to those who find the specialty-marked eggs.
At 10:15 a.m., children ages five and younger can receive a filled egg from the Easter Bunny, who will be in the small pavilion near the entrance road.
The Easter egg hunt is sponsored by the North Tonawanda Department of Youth, Recreation and Parks, the North Tonawanda Youth Board and the Student Council at North Tonawanda High School.
