Village of Lancaster plans Halloween activities for Oct. 30

LANCASTER- The Lancaster Fire Department and the Ladies Auxiliary will host its annual Halloween parade at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 30. The parade will start at Rite Aid and finish at the Municipal Building.
Children will be able to participate in a costume contest and indulge in donuts and cider after the parade. The businesses in the downtown business district will be open for trick or treating from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Children will be able to decorate their own pumpkin and participate in pumpkin bowling on West Main Street.
Central Avenue between Pleasant Avenue and Broadway will be closed between 6 and 8 p.m.
