School board training workshop March 23

The Erie County Association of School Boards will present a workshop for prospective school board candidates on Saturday, March 23, at Erie 1 BOCES, located at 355 Harlem Road in West Seneca.

Registration is from 8:15 to 8:30 a.m., and the program runs from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Workshop topics include information on school boards and the law, the election process, board-superintendent relationships and perspectives on school board service from both new and veteran board members.

This workshop is presented as a community service and is free of charge. A light continental breakfast is provided.
