When looking to add a personal touch to a gift, Niagara’s First Impressions has lots of options.
First starting in 1989, the store has been open in downtown Lockport for retail business since 2009.
Niagara’s First Impressions does embellishing on items such as coffee cups, awards and trophies. They also do screen printings, embroidery and personalization on corporate wear, uniforms, t-shirts, hats and more.
They specialize in both large and small orders and can help with all printing needs for clubs, organizations, family reunions, churches, schools, colleges, leagues, Greek wear and more.
“We made our business out of creating personal items,” said owner Tony Weiland. “Whether that is a gift or a way to show pride in an organization or school.”
He said when giving a gift, something that is memorable and special, “that can capture that moment of time” is really going to mean something.
“The true since of gift giving is important here,” said Weiland. “If you’re thinking of an idea, there is a good chance we can bring it to life.”
Niagara’s First Impressions can assist customers from designing an item through to the finished product.
Keeping with the personal feel, the store recently added tuxedos for sale/rent from Tuxedo Junction.
Those needing a tuxedo for a wedding, prom or other special event can find the perfect fit. Weiland said, while there, they can also help brides and grooms create and find gifts for their wedding party or any other personalized items they may need for the wedding day.
“We want to make their day as special as we can,” he said.
With spring around the corner, the store is getting ready to begin their busy time. They provide anything from full uniforms, to design services to shirt customization for baseball teams throughout the area.
One of the most popular items at the store is the high school varsity jacket. Weiland said they carry jackets for many of the local schools around the Lockport area and can order jackets for schools out of the area.
Niagara’s First Impressions is “proud” to be a part of downtown Lockport and Western New York.
“We’re very thankful for the support we receive from local schools, clubs and patrons,” he said.
The store, located at 22 W. Main St., is open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturdays. They are also open evenings by appointment.
