GAETANA, Giudice, passed away Sept. 27; beloved wife of the late Filadelfio Giudice; dearest mother of Carmelina Giudice and Maria Teresa Giudice; loving grandmother of Daniel Giudice; dear sister of Nicolo (Filomena) and Carmelo (Lorenzina) Bufalino; also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
MOORHOUSE, Beverly (nee Odle), 83, of the Town of Tonawanda, died Monday, Sept. 24, 2012 at her residence, after a long illness. Born in Buffalo, she was the daughter of the late Harold Odle and Sara Alice (nee Johns) Boley. A resident of the Town of Tonawanda for the past 53 years, she was a member of Resurrection Lutheran Church in Buffalo. Moorhouse loved taking care of her family, crocheting, and the family’s yearly camping trips to Allegany. For many years, she worked as a Home Interiors consultant. She was the sister of the late G.S. Emerick and Alfred Odle.
She is survived by her beloved husband of 65 years, Albert G. Moorhouse; four daughters, Linda (Jon) Muhl, Susan (John) Normandale, Virginia (Larry) DuVal, and Elaine (Vincent) Mule’; two sons, John Moorhouse and Fred Moorhouse; and a brother, Ronald (Carol) Odle. Also surviving are 16 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
If desired, memorials to the Resurrection Lutheran Church, 3 Doat Street, Buffalo, NY 14211, are preferred by the family.
HARNING, Lynn D., 81, of the Town of Tonawanda, died Tuesday, Oct. 2, 2012 at Millard Fillmore Suburban Hospital, after a long illness. Born in Batavia, he was the son of the late Harold and Helen (nee Griffis) Harning and had been a lifelong resident of the Tonawanda and Kenmore area. An Army Veteran of the Korean War, Harning was employed at Ashland Oil Company and then at Noco before retiring. He was the husband of the late Diane (nee Metzger) Harning, who died on February 23, 2007.
He is survived by two sons, Michael (Abby) Harning of the Town of Tonawanda and Joseph (Tina) Harning of Malone, New York; two daughters, Diane (Paul) Ehrenreich of Williamsville and Michelle (William) Abbott of Kenmore; and nine grandchildren, Michael Ehrenreich, Sara (Nik) Satchidanand, Amy (Jason) Davidson, Brooke Rankin, Jacquelyn Harning, Lauren Harning, Madeline Harning, David Harning, and Jacob Harning. Also surviving are a great-grandson, Aidan, and many nieces and nephews.
If desired, memorials to Hospice Buffalo, 225 Como Park Blvd., Cheektowaga, NY 14227, are preferred by the family.
