Mabel “Maizie” Scaccia Funeral services were held Friday (June 7) for Mabel “Maizie” (Craig) Scaccia, of Hamburg, who died June 5, 2013. She is survived by her children, Joan (Edwin) Schelble and Michael (Kathi) Scaccia); siblings, Eileen Scialfo; grandchildren, Susan (Philip) Lasko, Mark Schelble, Karen (Gerald) Feuerstein and Nicole Scaccia; 13 great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Mrs. Scaccia was predeceased by her husband, C. James Scaccia; siblings, James Craig and Doreen Dalmer. She was a volunteer foster grandmother at West Seneca Developmental Center for 22 years. Margaret Hennessy A Mass of Christian Burial was held Saturday (June 8) at SS Peter and Paul Church for Margaret (Finn) Hennessy, 89, of Hamburg who died Tuesday, June 4, 2013. She is survived by her children, Margaret Hine, Michael and Thomas Hennessy, Kathleen (William) Kirst; grandchildren, Kerry and Sean (Lisa) Hine, and Connor Kirst. Mrs. Hennessy was predeceased by her husband, Michael Hennessy. Memorials can be made to Hospice. Final resting place SS Peter and Paul Cemetery. Arrangements made by Donald M. Julie A. Smolinski Memorial services were held on Saturday (June 8) at the Immaculate Conception Church in Eden for Julie A. (Logel) Smolinski, of East Eden, who died June 3, 2013. She is survived by her mother Mildred (May); children, Bradley and Alexis Smolinski; sibling, Guy Logel; many aunts, uncles, cousins, and many dear friends. Kathleen M. Kordasiewicz Funeral services were held Monday (June 9) for Kathleen M. (Wisniewski) Kordasiewicz, of Hamburg, who died June 6, 2013. She is survived by her husband, Michael G.; children, Morgan Marzzena and Sydney Victoria Kordasiewicz; father, Ferdinand Wisniewski; siblings, Timothy (Valerie) Wisniewski; sister-in-law, Mary-Jo Wisniewski; also by a large, loving family and many dear friends. Mrs. Kordasiewicz was predeceased by her mother, Nancy (Brownson) Wisniewski; and brother, Tom Wisniewski. She was a NYS Corrections officer for 25 years and a Matron for the Town of Hamburg. Memorials made to the Hospice Foundation of WNY, or the Make-A-Wish Foundation. Arrangements were made by the John J. Kaczor Funeral Home.
Deborah A. Rosiek Memorial service will be held at the Donald M. Demmerley Funeral Home on Saturday, June 15 at 9 a.m. for Deborah A. (Bauer) Rosiek, 60, of Hamburg who died Thursday, June 6, 2013. She is survived by her children, April and Patrick Rosiek, Pennie (Michael) Carnahan, Matthew (Marilyn) and John Jr. (Cheryl) Rosiek; mother, Louise Bauer; siblings, Nancy (Bruce) Trentham, Barry (Cheryl) Bauer, Elizabeth (Thomas) Sulski, Shirley (Paul) Potts, and Daniel (Jody): she is also survived by ten grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Mrs. Rosiek was predeceased by her husband, John V. Rosiek Sr.; and father, Herold Bauer. She was a pharmacy technician at CVS Pharmacy. Memorials can be made to Hospice. Kenneth E. Young Memorial services were held on Monday (June 3) at the F. E. Brown Sons Funeral Home for Kenneth E. Young, 65, of Hamburg, who died May 30, 2013. He is survived by his wife, Sandra J. (Robinson); children, Aunna Rosemarie and Christina Krista Young; mother, Beatrice; mother-in-law, Edna Robinson; siblings, David (Peggy), Gerry and John Young; aunt, Natalie Robinson; Matthew Young and Cami Shaw, and other nieces, nephews and family members. Mr. Young was predeceased by his father, George Young; and father-in-law Peter Robinson. Kenneth Young was a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War. Mr. Young was a Purple Heart recipient during his service in Vietnam and a Letter Carrier for 27 years at the Hamburg Post Office. Internment was held at the Hillcrest Cemetery.
Joseph W. Bobinski Memorial services were held on Saturday (June 8) at the Castiglia Funeral Home for Joseph W. Bobinski, of Hamburg, who died June 2, 2013. He is survived by his children, Brian and Craig Bobinski; siblings, Thomas Bobinski, Lucien (Colleen), Stanley (Angela), and Peter (Laura) Rola; also his nieces and nephews. Mr. Bobinski was a U.S. Air Force veteran of the Vietnam Era. Contributions in Joseph’s name may be made to Hospice Buffalo, Inc., 225 Como Park Blvd., Cheektowaga, N.Y., 14227.
Mary Ann Pulinski
Services were held Wednesday (June 5) at the Hamburg Chapel of the John J. Kaczor Funeral Home for Mary Ann (Urbanczyk) Pulinski, 73, of Derby, who died on Monday, June 3, 2013.
She is survived by her husband Albin J. Pulinski; children, Pamela (Don) McMillan, Paul (Cheryl), Diane (Scott) Eggleston and Alan; siblings, Stephanie (Daniel) Pulinski, James (Nancy) Urbanczyk, Christine (Joseph) Benes, Marcia (Kevin) Janiga, Jane Martin and Edward (Kathy) Urbanczyk; grandchildren, Brittany, Kristen, Connor and Joshua; nieces, nephews and other loving family members.
Mrs. Pulinski was predeceased by her parents Stephen and Julia Urbanczyk.
She was retired from Harlequin Books located in Cheektowaga.

Charlotte D. Monroe
Graveside services will be held Monday, June 17, 2013 at 11 a.m. in Prospect Lawn Cemetery (Old Section) for Charlotte D. Monroe, 90, of Eden who died Sunday, June 2, 2013.
She is survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was predeceased by her husband, Larome Monroe; parents, Fred and Loretta (Yager) Kuenn; and sister, Evelyn Kuhn.
Mrs. Monroe was born April 2, 1923. She was a Life Member of the Eden Emergency Conception Church Senior Citizens and a member of the Hamburg Travel Club.

The services will be held at 6561 Gowanda State Rd., Hamburg

Violet VanKoughnett
Violet (Vicki) VanKoughnett, 88, of Buffalo, died in her home on Tuesday, June 4, 2013.
She is survived by Carol Moyer and Thomas (Ann) Moyer, Malcolm (Julie) VanKoughnett; grandchildren, Matthew and Rachael.
She is predeceased by her parents, Albert and Elizabeth (Street) Mills.
Donations made to local volunteer fire department.
Arrangements were made through Laing Funeral Home.
