Charles Hart of Hamburg died Jan. 24, surrounded by his wife of 58 years and their children.

He was the husband of Marie (nee Dillon); father of Nancy (John) Langer, John (Kathleen), Noreen (Stephen) Neitz, Eileen (Larry) Lonigan, Sharon Grant, Patricia (Dr. Gary) Smith, Robert (Jennifer), Theresa (James) Dearie and David (Sarah); grandfather of 45 and great-grandfather of six; brother of Lillian (late Hon. John) Callahan; also survived by many nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his parents, Patrick and Honora; daughter Noreen; grandson/godson Daniel Smith and eight of his brothers and sisters.

Visitation was held Feb. 2 from the Lakeside Memorial Funeral Home Inc. A Mass of Christian burial was held Feb. 3 from Our Mother of Good Counsel.

Rita (nee Kiebzak) Heim, 88, of Hamburg died Jan. 28.

She was an executive assistant at Western New York Hospital Television.

She was the wife of 66 years of Robert Heim; mother of Sharon (David Wahl) Heim, Sandra Belle (Patrick) Kindelan and Sheryl (David) Wnuk; grandmother of Joelle (Neil) Behlmaier, Guy (Cheryl) Williams, Elysia Rusnak Drawbaugh, Nicholas Wnuk and Kody Wnuk; great-grandmother of Colden Cook, Milah Behlmaier, Sadie Drawbaugh, Grason Behlmaier, Dafka Behlmaier, Nicole Dimartino, Lisa Dimartino; great-great-grandmother of Anthony Dimartino and Abriella Dimartino; daughter of the late Frank and Bella (nee Josik) Kiebzak; sister of the late Joseph (late Arvilla), Andy (late Eleanor) and Frank (late Alice) Kiebzak; also survived by other family members and friends.

Visitation was held from the John J. Kaczor Funeral Home’s Hamburg Chapel. A Mass of Christian burial was held from Saint Bernadette Church of Orchard Park. Interment was in Lakeside Memorial Cemetery.

Amy (nee Prosneick) Jacchino, 43, of Brant died in Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester.

She was the wife of Andy Jacchino; mother of Jenna, A.J. and Sammy Jacchino; daughter of Roger and the late Joanne Prosneick; sister of Lisa (Thomas) Cuccia and Kevin (Melissa) Prosneick.

Walter Olewine, 78, of Woodlawn died Feb. 1.

He retired from BFI Industries as a maintenance worker.

He was the husband of the late Naomi (nee Hitchings) Olewine; father of Walter Jr. (Michelle), Debbie (Michael) Malota and Sandra Olewine; grandfather of Jessica and Jacquelyn Olewine, Crystal (Daniel) Litz and Michael Malota and the late Jennifer Malota and Kyle Pangburn; great-grandfather of Anaka Litz; brother of the late Robert Olewine, Betsy Schumacher and George Olewine.

Visitation and a funeral service were held from the John J. Kaczor Funeral Home’s Blasdell/Lackawanna Chapel. Interment was in Lakeside Memorial Cemetery.

Theresa “Tootsie” (nee Della Penta) Owczarzak of Hamburg died Jan. 23.

She was the wife of the late Edward Owczarzak; mother of Thomas (Cindy) and Tony (Cheryl); grandmother of Julie, Kelly, Jimmy, Sherry, Tony, Shawn, Kyle, Amber; great-grandmother of Kayla; daughter of the late Luciano and Genevieve Della Penta; sister of the late Lillian (late Charles) Swiatlowski and the late Elaine (late Raymond) Leonard; also survived by other family members and friends.

Joseph Perrello

Joseph Perrello, 80, of Angola died Jan. 30.

He was a life member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 5798 and an honor guard member of Newcomb-Long American Legion Post 928.

He is survived by Catherine Quinn; father of Pamela Perrello, Diane Dorolek, April (Thomas) Oswald-Wilson and the late John Perrello; brother of Frank Perrello and Marie Mustillo; grandfather of Brett Baginski, Theo Wilson, Kenneth (Amanda), Aaron and Brittaney Dorolek; great-grandfather of Erin and Meghan Martin, Anna, Anthony and Ally Kurek and Riley and Kenneth Dorolek; also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held from the Addison Funeral Home Inc. of Angola.

A funeral service with military honors was held from Saint Anthony’s Roman Catholic Church of Farnham.

Mary Ellen Travis of Hamburg died Jan. 27.

She was the daughter of the late Thomas and Elizabeth Travis; sister of Barbara (Ronald) Fitzgerald, William Sr. (Denise) and the late Elizabeth Carter and Thomas Travis; also survived by nieces and nephews.

Kathleen Weimer

Kathleen (nee Schweikert) Weimer, formerly of East Eden, died Jan. 26.

She was born May 28, 1959 to Lois and the late Bob.

She was a teamster for Local 449.

She was the mother of Michael Weimer; sister of Michelle Baker, Kim Brooks, Marcia Schweikert and the late Mary Sou; also survived by five nephews and one niece.
