Linda J. (nee Sicurella) Crouse, of Farnham, 67, died July 3.
Crouse was the wife of Arthur Crouse; daughter of Blanche and the late Samuel Sicurella; stepmother of Arthur, “Sonny,” Brian and Martin Crouse, Elleretta Carroll and Henrietta Hamm; sister of Carolina (Skip) Winger, Antoinette “Toni” Sicurella and Samuel Sicurella Jr.; also survived by nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great-grandchildren Ava and Sonny.
Crouse was a judge with the Brant Town Court from 2008-2014.
Services will be held at a time to be announced. Arrangements were made by the Addison Funeral Home Inc.

Colin M. Sargent Sr., 67, of Hamburg, died June 25.
Sargent was the husband of Linda (nee Dinehart); father of Kelly (Joseph) Migliaccio, Nicole (Jeffrey) Casarsa, Patricia and Colin (Gina) Sargent Jr.; brother of Micky Marren, Dorothy (late Eugene) Dolan, Joan (Thomas) Shriver, Patricia (James) McLellan, Robert “Emmet” (Ginny) Sargent and the late Kathryn Martin and Charles (Gloria) Sargent; grandfather of Jay, Lena, Mara and Juliana.
Sargent was a health and safety compliance office with the United States Department of Labor. He was a United States Navy veteran of Vietnam.
A funeral was held on June 28 from the Donald M. Demmerley Funeral Home Inc. and Saints Peter & Paul Church. Interment was held in Saints Peter & Paul Cemetery, with military honors.

Phillip B. Comerate, of Lake View, died June 16.
Comerate was the husband of Ann (nee Gennuso) and the late Teresa (nee Petrino); father of Madonna (Richard) Schaeffer, Joseph (Tammy), Phillip and Peter (Katherine) Comerate; grandfather of Peter II, Marissa, MaryTeresa and Joseph; and brother of Dolores (Vincent) Andronico.
Visitation will be held from 10-11:30 a.m. on Thursday, July 10 at the Lakeside Memorial Funeral Home Inc., located at 4199 Lake Shore Road. Funeral services will immediately follow at 11:30.

Russell J. Ponton, of Machias, formerly of Blasdell, died July 2.
Ponton was the husband of the late Helen (nee Boedo) Ponton; father of Robert (Lynnette) Ponton; grandfather of Lisa and Richard (Melissa) Ponton; great-grandfather of Riley, Damien, Henry and Gabriel.
Ponton was a “Father Baker Boy,” the founder of the P.G.O. Golf Outing, a member of the American Legion Post No. 1460 in Machias, and a 30-year member of the Blasdell Volunteer Fire Department.
A Mass of Christian burial was held July 7 at Our Lady of Victory Basilica.
Interment was in Lakeside Memorial Cemetery.

Joseph Matthew Jayson died suddenly June 27.
Jayson was the husband of Judith (nee Phillips) Jayson; father of Jeffrey (Merle), Jonathan (Jessica) Jayson, Jordan (Jillian) Jayson, Jacqueline (Matthew Iak) Jayson, Jennifer (Jayson) Dunsby; grandfather of Gavin, Jordana, Lillyanne, Jackson, Madison, Parker, John Robert, Anna, Samantha and Joie; brother of William (Louise) Jaworski and the late Constance (late Thaddeus) Stypowany; also survived by an aunt, cousins and many nieces and nephews.

Patricia Fitzgibbons, of Beaufort, S.C., formerly of Lake View, died July 4.
Fitzgibbons was the daughter of the late William Fitzgibbons and Virginia Terhaar Fitzgibbons; sister of Mark (Susan) Fitzgibbons, of Beaufort, and William Fitzgibbons of Silver Creek; also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Fitzgibbons was a former summer resident of Hanford Bay in the early 1940s and 1950s. She was born on July 1, 1931 in Buffalo.
She attended Saint Teresa Catholic School and Mount Mercy Academy. She served our country in the United States Naval Reserve from 1967-1972 with a rank of Petty Officer 2nd Class.
She was a past member of the New York State Claims Association, Buffalo Claims Association, OLPH Altar & Rosary Society and the Mount Mercy Alumnae Association. She was employed by Albert F. Stager Inc. from 1970-2009 as a New York State licensed auto and casualty adjuster. She was a volunteer at South Town Catholic School and was active in ministry programs at Saint John Paul II Church. She moved to Beaufort, S.C. in 2011.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 11 from 3-7 p.m. at the Lakeside Memorial Funeral Home Inc. A Mass of Christian burial will be held at Saint John Paul II Parish on Friday, July 12 at 10:30 a.m.

Eleanor R. Kwilos, 96, died July 1.
Kwilos was the wife of the late Thaddeus Kwilos; sister of late Agnes Frenzel and late Carl Andres; mother of Judy Scoma, Kathy Brown, Janice Edmunds, Gary, Kevin and Kenny Kwilos; grandmother to 10 and great-grandmother to five.
A funeral Mass was held on July 8 at Saint Mary’s Oratory in East Eden.

Breier was the wife of John Breier Jr. for 54 yeras; mother of Julie (Frank) Relosky Jr., Kumberly (David) Klepas, John Breier III, Jennifer (late David) Meges and Andrew (Sharon) Breier; grandmother of Michael Relosky (Crystal Ohnmeiss), Douglas Relosky (Emma Walsh), Elizabeth Relosky, Johanna Breier (Richard Canestrari), Natassia, Gavin Mages, Haley and Molly Breier; great-grandmother of Olivia Mages; daughter of the late Robert and Dorothy Sachs.
She was a former writer for the Hamburg Sun in the mid-to-late ‘60s and a charter member of the Boston Emergency Squad.

Jeffrey J. “Jonesy” Jones, 56, of Hamburg, died June 10.
Jones was the son of the late Norbert and Mary Jones; brother of Allison LoVallo, Gregory (Joyce) Jones and Patricia Pikul; also survived by Gregory “Bubba,” who Jones saved from Hurricane Katrina; several nieces, nephews and friend Lisa Anderson.

Howard Stresing, 86, of The Villages in Florida, formerly of Eden, died July 2.
Stresing is survived by his wife, Ruth Stresing; five children and four stepchildren.
Stresing was a long-time resident of Hamburg. He was a retired bricklayer. He moved to The Villages in Florida in 2001, from Eden. He was a Navy Veteran.
A private family service will be held in Eden.

Lois Mattioli, 94, of Coral Springs, Fla., died June 24.
Mattioli was born in Viola, Ark. to Garland and Atha Franks. She is survived by three children, Garland (Jan) Mattioli, Denise Bukaty and Jeannine Streiff; four grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Anthony V. White, of the Cattaraugus Indian Reservation, 57, died June 30.
White was the brother of Inez Desjarlais, Loretta Silversmith, Dexter Shongo, Charlotte Rampey, Teresa White, Dawn Ackerman, Gail White and Eric White; son of the late Russell White Jr. and Carol Sundown; also survived by aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements were made by the Wentland Funeral Home of North Collins.
