Ruth A. Hess, 83, of South Dayton, died November 25, 2012 at TLC Lakeshore Health Care Center in Irving.

Mrs. Hess co-owned and operated a dairy farm in Hamlet and Shelbyville, Tenn.;

She was the wife of Robert Hess of South Dayton; daughter of the late Elmer and Louise (Wiadtrowski) Seiffert; mother of Rodney Hess of Hillsboro, Tenn., Sandra (Kenneth) Cross of Forestville, Linda Logan of Cherry Creek, Dayle (David) Barnes of South Dayton, Althea (Terry) Libby of Cherry Creek; sister of Alice "Sis" Kuras of Lancaster, Lucile "Pat" Kaltenbach of Conewango Valley, Rosemary Eden of Medina and the late Elmer Seiffert, Robert Seiffert; also survived by 11 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
