Joan M. Smith
A funeral was held Monday (Dec. 24) from Donald M. Demmerley Funeral Home and SS. Peter and Paul Church for Joan M. (Becker) Smith, 73, of Eden, who died on Saturday, December 22, 2012.
She is survived by her husband, Charles D. Smith; daughters, Robin (Thomas) Winiasz and Kimberly (Thomas) Snyder; brothers, Roger (Joyce) and Edward Becker and grandchildren, Cynthia and Thomas Winiasz.
Mrs. Smith was predeceased by her brother, Harvey (late Margaret) Becker.
She was a member of Hamburg Moose Chapter 1217.
Burial was in SS. Peter and Paul Cemetery.
A funeral service was held from Wentland Funeral Home on Wednesday (Jan. 2) for Jane (Clark) Feltz, 89, of North Collins, who died on Saturday, December 29, 2012.
She is survived by her children, Wayne and Brad (Sandy) Feltz and Stacey (John) Callinan; sister, Donna (Richard) Orton; grandchildren, Jennifer (Eric) Small, David (Sharon) Smith, Celeste (Eric) Kwarta, Candice Callinan and Lindsey, Mark (Naomi), Marshall and Douglas Feltz; great-grandchildren, Austin Smith and Lacey Jane Kwarta and daughter-in-law, Frances Feltz.
Mrs. Feltz was predeceased by her husband, Norman Feltz; son, Craig N. Feltz and sisters, Ruth Lietz and Sally Schmitz.
She raised her family on their large farm, co-managing its operations. She worked in the North Collins school system for several years as an aide, and sold Avon for 30 years in the North Collins area.
Mrs. Feltz prided herself in her love of her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed her friendships with the many folks who have called her a friend. She baked and cooked for anyone in need and supplied her family with happy memories of large family meals and wonderful holidays. She shared her recipes and anecdotes with all those who sat around her kitchen table. Her humor was always present. Her forgiving heart and her ability to lead by example is memorable.

James J. Fregelette
A private funeral service was held from Holy Spirit Church for James J. Fregelette, 85, of North Collins, who died on Friday, December 28, 2012.
He is survived by his wife, Ann Marie (Vacco) Fregelette; children, Deborah Fregelette Draper, Donna (Paul) Henning, and Diane (Richard) Jermain; brother, Donald (Ann Marie) Fregelette and grandchildren, Brian, Andrea, Richard and Sara.
Mr. Fregelette was predeceased by his sister, Marilyn (Raymond) Detzel.
Burial was in Holy Spirit Cemetery.
Arrangements were made through the Wentland Funeral Home.
A funeral service was held from Addison Funeral Home on Saturday (Jan. 5) for Jeanette George, 36, of Queens, formerly of Tampa, Fla., who died on Sunday, December 23, 2012.
She is survived by her parents, Joseph and Beverly George; siblings, Melinda (Ruben) Clark and Brent George; grandparents, Edna Peach and Kenneth George; uncles and aunts, Don (late Judy) George, Linda (Mike) Burkhardt, Edward (Tina) Parker, and Judy (Kermit) Mcgary; niece and nephew, Nathaniel and Mariah Clark, and many cousins.
Ms. George was predeceased by her grandmother, Betty George; aunt, Nancy (Bob) Simonson and uncle, Brian Parker.
She was born in Lockport, and was a graduate of Tennessee Temple University and Word of Life Bible Institute. She was a child care worker at Idlewild Baptist Church in Tampa, Fla. She had a special gift for working with small children.
Internment was in Alcola Cemetery in New Bethlehem, Pa.
Charlotte A. Cialone
A memorial service will be held from St. James UC of C on Saturday (Jan. 12) at 1 p.m. for Charlotte A. (Clouser) Cialone, of Hamburg, who died on Thursday, January 3, 2013.
She is survived by her children, David (Karen) Cialone, Catherine Applegit and Deborah Hopkins; mother, Mildred (Gray) Clouser; 11 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Cialone was predeceased by her sons, Robert and Michael Cialone, and her father, Earl Clouser.

Shirley A. Hopfer
A funeral service was held from Wentland Funeral Home on Saturday (Jan. 5) for Shirley A. (Taber) Hopfer, 79, of Angola, who died on Thursday, January 3, 2012.
She is survived by her sister, Norma Bellizzi; nieces and nephrews, Terry Luther Yochum, Liz and Kim; great nieces and nephews, Bradley, Chad and Summer and many other nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Hopfer was predeceased by her husband, Edward C. Hopfer and two brothers and a sister.

Susan D. Morlock
Funeral Services were held from Donald M. Demmerley Funeral Home and SS. Peter and Paul Church on Saturday (Dec. 29) for Susan D. (Refermat) Morlock, 93, of Hamburg, who died on Tuesday, December 25, 2012.
She is survived by her children, Earl J. (Jeanette) and Robert (Sandy) Morlock; grandchildren, Linda (Tim) Morlock, Cathy (Craig) Franklin, Sharon (David) Wilczynski, Lorie (Steven) Savurdich, Larry (Marilyn) and Leonard Morlock; several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Morlock was predeceased by her husband, Earl F. Morlock.
She was a cook at the former Village Pizzeria and head of housekeeping for the Donald M. Demmerley Funeral Home for almost 50 years, retiring in 2006 at the age of 87. She also cleaned for many other families in the area.
Burial was in Hillcrest Cemetery.
A Mass of Christian Burial was held from Blessed John Paul II Parish on Friday (Jan. 4) for Ann (Frost) Jasinski, of Derby, who died on Monday, December 31, 2012.
She is survived by her children, Lois (Michael) Maj, Richard C. (Suzanne) and Daniel (Jean) Jasinski; siblings, Barbara (Richard) DeMay and Tom (May) Frost; 10 grandchildren and six great-granddaughters.
Mrs. Jasinski was predeceased by her husband, Richard F. Jasinski and her daughter, Luica (Joseph) LaPorte.
She was a member of the Blessed John Paul II Altar and Rosary Society, Bishop’s Committee, Lake Shore Central Schools Alumni Board and Ladies Auxiliary of North Evans Vol. Fire Co.

Joseph L. Bianchi
A Memorial Mass was held from St. Mary of the Lake Church on Saturday (Jan. 5) for Joseph L. Bianchi, 92, of Hamburg, who died on Wednesday, January 2, 2012.
He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Mary (Bellanca) Bianchi; children, Joseph (Jo), Gary (Carol) Bianchi and Judy (David) Wojtaszczyk; sister, Adele (late Harold) Steinman; 14 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Mr. Bianchi was predeceased by his brothers, Robert (late Lea) and Carl (late Jean) Bianchi and one grandson.
He was a retiree of Bethlehem Steel, a World War II veteran and a life member of VFW Post 1419.

She is survived by her children, Marianne (Gary) Kuntz, Steven J. (Sandi) and Alan (Mary) Galac; siblings, Ann (Robert) MacPherson and John (Maryann) Olszewski; six grandsons; a granddaughter; two great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Galac was predeceased by her husband, Steve Galac; parents, John and Barbara (Pretko) Olszewski and siblings, John (Henrietta) Manzik, Marie (Rocco) Campoli, Sally (Charles) Jensen, Sophie (Frank) Holenski, Irene Johnstone and Michael (Patricia) Olszewski.

Patrick F. Jasinski
A service was held from Addison Funeral Home on Tuesday (Jan. 8) for Patrick F. “Sony” Jasinski, 75, of Angola, who died on Saturday, January 5, 2013.
He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Patricia A. (Kush) Jasinski; children, Steven and Gregory Jasinski and Julianne (Timothy) Leach; siblings, Richard (Mary Riley) Jasinski and Diane (late Douglas) Russel; grandchildren, Kyle, Brian, Matthew, Zachary, Deven, Samantha and Makayla; great grandchildren, Kera and Aiden, and many nieces and nephews.
Mr. Jasinski was predeceased by his parents, Carrie (Michalski) and Stephen Jasinski.
He was an employee of Securitas Security Service.
Marion I. Gasiewicz
A funeral service was held from John J. Kaczor Funeral Home, Hamburg Chapel on Saturday (Dec. 29) for Marion I. (Janik) Gasiewicz, of Hamburg, who died on Wednesday, December 26, 2012.
She is survived by her children, Jaclyn (James) McKenzie, Paul (Sarah) and Mark (Sheila) Gasiewicz; sister, Barabara (Paul) Friscic and grandchildren, Hayley, Ashley, Carter, Lauren, Madison and Bryce.
Mrs. Gasiewicz was predeceased by her husband, Gerald R. “Spider” Mendrysa; parents, Harry and Pearl (Uliaszek) Janik and son, Leonard C. Gasiewicz III.
She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of VFW Col. Weber Post No. 898.
Entombment was in Lakeside Memorial Cemetery.
