New York state trooper Joseph Paolucci stopped a vehicle for speeding on Route 16 in Machias on Oct. 3 at 10:34 a.m.

During the stop, the driver, Tracy Caradori, 49, of East Aurora, was found to be intoxicated and in possession of marijuana.

Caradori was arrested for driving while intoxicated and unlawful possession of marijuana and transported to the Machias state police barracks, where she was determined to have a blood alcohol content of .08 percent.

She was processed and released to a third party. She will face the charges in the town of Machias Court at a later date.

Three burglars arrested
New York state police received a call from a resident of Back Creek Road in the town of Boston on Oct. 4, 2013 at 12 p.m., regarding a possible burglary that was still in progress.

The neighbor followed the three suspects, who fled the area in a black Kia SUV, and notified the state police. Sergeant Tom Dugan of the Boston barracks located the suspects’ vehicle on a dirt road off of Cole Road in Boston.

Taken into custody, with the assistance of the Erie County Sheriff’s Department, were Michael Dulski, 22, of Blasdell; Zachary McMahon, 19, of Orchard Park and Jeffrey Pusateri, 18, of Lackawanna.

The three burglary suspects were charged with burglary third, arraigned in the town of Boston Court and remanded to the Erie County holding Center where they were held on $5,000 cash bail.

Collins man is arrested in Concord
Erie County Sheriff’s Deputy Jonathan Hanna responded to a report of a car that had struck a utility pole on Sharp Street in the town of Concord on Sept. 28 at 8:50 p.m.

When the officer arrived at the scene, the driver of the vehicle fled into the woods, but was apprehended, following a short pursuit. Further investigation revealed the driver Robert Kehr, 34, of Gowanda, was intoxicated.

Kehr was arrested for driving while intoxicated and taken to the Erie County Sheriff’s substation in Springville for a breath test. The test revealed that Kehr’s blood alcohol content was .18 percent, resulting in an additional charge of aggravated DWI. Kehr’s charges were upgraded to felony, due to two previous felony DWI convictions in 2012.

He was also charged with felony aggravated unlicensed operation, as his license has been revoked due to the previous DWI convictions.

Kehr was held at the Erie County Holding Center, pending arraignment.
