Vikki D. Sherry, 48, 471 High St., Apt. 2, Lockport was charged Monday with driving while intoxicated.
Patrol responded in the area of the laundry mat on Davison Road at Lincoln Avenue for a suspicious person. The caller stated the female was acting strange.
Upon arrival the caller said the female had left but her clothes were still in a dryer.
A vehicle pulled into the plaza fitting the description of the car the female left it. Sherry exited and patrol spoke with her.
According to reports, police immediately smelled a heavy odor of an alcoholic beverage on her breath. She was given several field sobriety tests, which she failed.
Andrew J. Bailey, 22, 397 Washburn St., Apt. 3, Lockport was charged Monday with unlawful possession of marijuana.
Patrol responded to the area of Genesee Street for a suspicious vehicle allegedly making a drug buy. The vehicle was located and a traffic stop was conducted.
During the stop, the four occupants were taken out of the vehicle and interviewed.
The driver’s side rear passenger was questioned and he stated he had just purchased a small amount of marijuana. Bailey then told patrol where it was located in the vehicle.
Kenneth W. Houghton, Jr., 31, 6 Walnut St., Apt. 2, Lockport was charged Tuesday with second-degree harassment and endangering the welfare of a child.
On Nov. 11, a woman reported that her juvenile son was physically harassed on Walnut Street. She reported her two juvenile children; a 13-year-old male and a 15-year-old female were walking past 6 Walnut St., where the juvenile’s male brother Houghton, lives.
As they were walking by, it was reported Houghton approached them. He allegedly grabbed the juvenile male by the sweatshirt and attempted to pick him up off the ground.
The two were standing in the roadway and as Houghton let go, he reportedly pushed him farther into the road. There was a vehicle passing at that time, and it had to swerve and honk the horn to avoid striking the juvenile.
Willie Howard, III, 27, 368 Pine St., Apt. 3, Lockport was charged Wednesday with criminal possession.
Patrol assisted Niagara County Probation with a home visit on a woman. While probation was conducting the visit, Howard had a small white baggie of 11 pills and $74 cash on him.
The pills had markings of AN627 and poison control stated the pills were “tramadol,” which is a prescribed controlled substance. The pills were sent to the lab for further testing and the cash was seized.
Arthur F. Palmer, Jr., 52, 4869 Gasport Road, Gasport was charged Wednesday with aggravated harassment.
On Oct. 7, patrol was dispatched to the above location for a report of an aggravated harassment. Upon arrival, patrol spoke to the victim who stated the suspect called her twice and left voice messages.
The suspect has also phoned her three times on Oct. 6.
Palmer was advised by police on Sept. 23 to stop contacting the victim. There has also been numerous reports in regards to the two parties.
James L Mericle, 46, 117 Caledonia St., Apt. Upper, Lockport was charged Wednesday with third-degree attempted assault.
Patrol responded to a report of a domestic.
The victim stated she got into a physical argument with her father and he allegedly pushed her into a cabinet, threw her on the coffee table and punched her in the head several times.
