January 28
DWI
Albert D. Penrod, 62, Gibson Street, Tonawanda, was arrested Jan. 28 for DWI (Felony) and leaving the scene of an accident. Penrod alledgedly hit seven parked cars near Wheeler and Schuler Streets. He was later located in the parking lot of the Tonawanda Housing Authority on Wheeler Street, slumped over the steering wheel. Penrod was taken to Erie County Medical Center (ECMC) where he gave blood in order to determine his blood alcohol level. He was held at ECMC for observation.
Forgery
Zachary S. Gravell, 25, B Street, Niagara Falls, was arrested Monday, Jan. 28 for criminal possession of a controlled substance, two counts of forgery in the second degree, two counts of possession of a forged instrument, and possession of stolen property. Gravell tried to pass along forged prescriptions at Walgreens, Tonawanda. He was held for court.
January 29
Larceny
Ashley A. Williams, 21, Longs Avenue, Tonawanda, was arrested Jan. 29 on two different offenses. Williams was arrested on the charge of larceny, because she alledgedly stole a co-workers purse while working at the Dollar Store. She was also arrested on five counts of falsifying business records. Williams was falsifying the amount of money collected from pop bottle returns and was keeping the money. The arrest was a result of an incident that occurred on Jan. 13.
January 30
Criminal contempt
Samuel J. Pezzino, 20, Dunston Avenue, Buffalo, was arrested Jan. 30 for speeding and criminal contempt. Pezzino was stopped for speeding on Niagara Street, Tonawanda, and a female was found in the vehicle with him. There was an order of protection in place between the two parties and Pezzino violated that order. He was held for court.
January 31
Criminal mischief
Edward Siwi, 37, Scott Street, Tonawanda, was arrested on two warrants Jan. 31. One warrant for the charges of criminal mischief and trespass. The second warrant was issued for criminal mischief, petit larceny and trespass. After an investigation, it was determined that Siwi broke into vehicles at two auto repair shops in Tonawanda. These break ins occurred in December and February.
February 1
Possession
Kyle S. McGregor, 21, Eugene Street, Tonawanda, surrendered on a warrant Feb. 1 for criminal possession of stolen property (credit card) and petit larceny. McGregor stole a woman’s purse that contained credit cards on Nov. 19.
Controlled Substance
Allan D. Pomaranski, 34, West Delevan Avenue, Buffalo, was arrested for possession of a controlled substance. Xanax pills were found out of the bottle in Pomaranski’s possession. It was also determined that Pomaranski had a an outstanding traffic warrant from 2011. He was held for court.
Driving without
an interlock
Leslie P. Nilsson, 25, Royal Avenue, Buffalo, was arrested Feb. 1 for aggravated unlicensed operation (AUO) in the second degree; AUO in the first degree, speeding, and driving a vehicle without an interlock ignition. Nilsson was stopped for speeding. She was released on $250 bail.

DWI
Christopher M. Clark, 35, Mohawk Parkway, Niagara Falls, was arrested Feb. 2 for DWI and operating a motor vehicle without headlights. Clark was seen driving down Main Street with no headlights. He told law enforcement that he “only had five beers.” Clark refused to take the road side breath test and was held for court.
DWI
Natalie L. Manno, 31, Bouck Street, Tonawanda, was arrested Feb. 2 for DWI, aggravated DWI and following too closely Manno was involved in an accident on the Renaissance Bridge, during which she rear-ended another driver. Manno told law enforcement that she “had four drinks and two shots.” Her BAC was .18, she was held for court.
Assault
Douglas J. Rogers, 41, Philadelphia Street, Buffalo, was arrested on a warrant for assault in the third degree and criminal contempt. Rogers was involved in a domestic incident with a female in December. He was held for court.
February 3
Reckless Driving
Jennifer L. Johnson, 31, Sand Ridge Road, Alden, was arrested Feb. 3 for reckless driving, aggravated unlicensed operation and four traffic charges. Johnson was seen swerving to avoid rear-ending a vehicle and causing a collision when she slid off the road. Upon a DMV check, it was determined her license was suspended due to a previous infraction. She was held on $250 bail.
February 4
DWI
Thomas J. Waters, 47, Park Avenue, Tonawanda, was arrested for DWI, criminal mischief, obstruction of governmental administration, leaving the scene of an accident, aggravated unlicensed operation in the third degree (felony) and seven traffic charges.
Waters was observed by law enforcement driving on Delaware without a front license plate. When patrol turned around to investigate the situation, Waters quickly turned down Koch Street where he then drove onto a lawn and into a fence at 14 Koch Street. After the car stopped, he fled the scene on foot and was later found by law enforcement hiding under a parked vehicle at 38 Koch Street.
Waters was driving with no front plate, a license plate from the state of Texas on the back, and it was determined he had 30 outstanding suspensions on his license. He refused to take the road side breath test and was held on $10,000 bail.

Gerale D. Jones, 32, Hyde Park, Niagara Falls, was arrested Feb. 2 for DWI, aggravated unlicensed operation in the first degree and unlicensed operation. Bail was set at $750.

Harassment
Andrew A. Loeser, 25, William Street, Tonawanda, was arrested Feb. 3 for harassment in the second degree.

Clint G. Cornocchia, 28, Payne Avenue, North Tonawanda, was arrested Feb. 4 for a violation of probation.

Amanda R. Edin, 28, was arrested in Kenmore, Jan. 24 for driving while intoxication -first offense, operating a motor vehicle with a BAC or more than .08 percent - first offense, and equipment violation - no/inadequate lights.

Ian Diebold, 21, was arrested by KPD Jan. 27 for petit larceny.

Christine Jo Yacone, 42, was arrested Jan. 28 for operating a motor vehicle by an unlicensed driver, aggravated unlicensed operation - alcohol related, and operating a motor vehicle without an inspection certificate.

Alberto J. Cantres, 23, was arrested Feb.1 for operating a motor vehicle by an unlicensed driver, aggravated unlicensed operation - alcohol related, and equipment violation - no/inadequate lights.

Cynthia N. Crincic, 34, was arrested by KPD Feb. 2 for driving while intoxicated - first offense, reckless driving, operating a motor vehicle with a BAC of .08 or more - first offense, and equipment violation - no/inadequate lights.
