LANCASTER- Sept. 22
At 3:08 p.m., patrol was dispatched to NOCO at Walden and Central avenues for a report of a female that had urinated on the dumpster on the side of the building. The complainant stated a white female had come into the store and after being told there were no public restrooms, she became irate, exited the store, and urinated on the dumpster on the north side of the building.
The subject, Nichole M. Mckerrow, 28, of Atlanta, Ga., left the scene in a red Pontiac. The vehicle was stopped in Depew at Walden Avenue and Dick Road. Mckerrow was taken back to NOCO where she was positively identified by the complainant.
She was then transported to the station and charged for exposure of a person.
DWAI by Drugs
At 6:56 p.m., patrol was dispatched to a reckless operation complaint east on Genesee Street. The complainant was following a blue Ford Escape that was reportedly all over the road east on Genesee Street and then south on Stony Road. Patrol was able to catch up and conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle on Stony Road north of Pleasant View Drive.
During a conversation with the operator, Andrew D. Hutter, 23, of Alden, glassy eyes, impaired speech, and impaired motor coordination were all immediately noticeable. Hutter was only able to produce his driverís license and after the performance and failure of several field sobriety tests and oral admissions made by Hutter, he was arrested for criminal possession of a controlled substance, operating a motor vehicle impaired by drugs, and controlled substance in non-original container.
After being read his Miranda Warnings, Hutter admitted to being in possession of several controlled substances, which were in his backpack in the car. Hutter gave consent to search his vehicle and located in his backpack were 18.5 Xanax pills, three Oxymorphone pills, six Hydromorphone pills, two Suboxone strips, and a marijuana grinder. Hutter agreed to submit to a chemical blood and urine test. He was transported to ECMC where the tests were conducted. Afterward, he was transported to the station and charged.
Richard O. Nagele, 43, of Depew was arrested for petit larceny after stealing from Walmart, located at 4975 Transit Road.
Driving While Ability Impaired
Patrols responded at 4:12 p.m. to Walden Avenue for a citizen complaint of reckless operation. The complainant contacted 911 by a cell phone and followed the suspect vehicle until patrol was able to initiate a traffic stop.
Patrol pulled behind the subjectís vehicle and pace the vehicle for approximately half a mile. The vehicle was in the curb lane, then without signaling moved to the passing lane and the crossed the double yellow line into the westbound lane. The vehicle then returned to the passing lane.
Patrol initiated a traffic stop and the vehicle pulled to the side of Walden Avenue near Ryerson Steel. The subject was the sole occupant seated in the driverís seat. The subject, Lisa M. Tadak, 31, of Depew, displayed obvious signs of impairment including slurred speech, impaired motor coordination, and constricted pupils. Patrol had Tadak perform several standard field sobriety tests.
Tadak made several spontaneous statements admitting to consuming two Soma pills, which are muscle relaxers, approximately 30 minutes prior to the stop. Tadak was subsequently placed under arrest and transported to the station.
Tadak was charged with operation of a motor vehicle impaired by drugs and failure to use designated lane. She is scheduled to appear in town court at the end of October.
At 3:16 p.m., patrol was dispatched to a complaint of criminal trespass at a Hinchey Avenue residence. The complainant, 21, of Lancaster, stated her ex-boyfriend, Michael J. Zinck, 22, of Buffalo, called her around 2 p.m. and stated he had gone into her house and taken pictures.
The complainant returned home and observed the front door she had closed when she left was ajar and her clothes strewn about the kitchen floor. The complainant called Zinck back in the presence of patrol when he admitted to entering the apartment. Patrol spoke with the Zinck who stated that he did go inside the apartment, but thought he had permission, which the complainant stated he never had.
A supporting deposition was taken from the complainant and Zinck stated he would turn himself into the station for criminal trespass.
At 4:48 p.m., patrol responded to Kohlís Department Store, 4835 Transit Road, where Kohlís security had the subject, Frederick J. Seitz, 20, of Cheektowaga, in custody for shoplifting. The complainant stated that prior to calling the police Seitz parked on the far side of the parking lot, entered the store twice, and left the store, and the second time he left with four pairs of pants, one fleece, and another article of clothing without paying.
The total of property stolen was listed at $230.42. Seitz was taken into custody and transported to the station. Seitz was charged with petit larceny and is scheduled to appear in town court Oct. 18.
Driving with Suspended Registration
Patrol observed at 11:35 p.m. a 1999 Ford Expedition exiting the Motel 6, located at 50 Freeman Drive, parking lot in violation of a broken front windshield. Patrol conducted a traffic stop.
The subject, Damien L. Littleton, 42, of Buffalo, registration returned suspended for parking violations as of Aug. 22. Littleton was taken into custody and transported to the station.
He was issued tickets for operation of a motor vehicle with registration suspended and motor vehicle with broken glass. Littleton was released on his own recognizance.
