December 29
DWI
Brian D. Dabeck, 42, Carney Street, Tonawanda, was arrested Dec. 29 for DWI, possession of a weapon, driving left of pavement markings, failure to keep right, unsafe backing and no turn signal.
Dabeck was backing out of a driveway on Scott Street and almost hit a police car.
He told police he “had three big beers.” Dabeck was arrested and refused to take the roadside breath test.
Patrol found a switch blade in his center counsel.
He was held for court.
Impersonation
John G. Gaddis, 24, Remmington Street, North Tonawanda, was arrested Dec. 29 for criminal impersonation. Gaddis was stopped on Utica Street after patrol received phone calls of a suspicious person in the area.
He gave two different false names to law enforcement, prior to being arrested.
December 30
Larceny
Joshua J. Hayes, 24, Rusher Road, Alden, was arrested Dec. 30 for petit larceny/shoplifting.
Hayes was observed taking three bottles of Ellicottville Beer at the Sunoco on Delaware.
He was held for court.
AUO
Clarence G. Sanford, Jr., 47, Victory Boulevard, Tonawanda, was arrested on a bench warrant for aggravated unlicensed operation Dec. 30.
He was stopped on the 219 by sheriffs and turned over to the City of Tonawanda Police Department on a bench warrant.
DWI
Andrew J. Wozniak, 48, Rumble Avenue, North Tonawanda, was arrested Dec. 30 for DWI, aggravated DWI, driving left of pavement markings, and driving without a seat belt. Wozniak was observed crossing the double yellow lines on Main Street.
Prior to his arrest, Wozniak admitted to patrol that he drank, “five beers and five shots.” His BAC was .21.
Mischief
Damian Z. Pfister, 26, Niagara Street, Tonawanda, was arrested at midnight Dec. 30 for criminal mischief, harassment in the second degree, and two counts of criminal contempt.
Pfister was involved in an altercation with a female who he violated an order of protection against both her and a child.
