HAMBURG — The Centennial Art Center hosted the opening reception of the fall member’s show on Nov. 13 at the Hamburg Public Library.
The exhibitors and winners are all local artists working in a variety of media. The show is open to the community at the library, during regular hours, through Dec. 6.
The chairman of the show was Mary Ahrens; the event was cochaired by Diane Noody. The judge of the show was Karen Olejnicak, who is a resident artist at the Redfish Art Studio in East Aurora.
Winners included, best of show: Catherine O’Neill, for her painting “Paul’s Porch;” first place: Carol Maltby, for “The Straw Hat;” second place: Bridgett Farrell, for “Sunrise in the Forest;” third place: Jack Edson, for “Zoar Valley.”
Honorable mentions were awarded to Sally Crino, Robert Noody, Diane Noody and Charles Brown. The Grace Rosati Award was given to Ivan Moehrle, for his work “Silo on the Water.”
