Hamburg High School performs The Matchmaker

Hamburg High School will present Thornton Wilder’s classic farce “The Matchmaker” April 26 through 28 in the school auditorium, located at 4111 Legion Drive.
Show times are 7:30 p.m. on Friday, April 26 and Saturday, April 27; 2 p.m. on Sunday, April 28.
Tickets are $8 for adults; $4, students and senior citizens and are on sale in the high school lobby from 10:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. on weekdays. They can also be reserved by calling 867-6350. Orders received as of April 23 will be held at the service desk for pickup.
This production is the tale of a rich, old merchant of Yonkers in the late19th century who decides to take a wife. He employs a matchmaker and this swift farce runs into hilarious complications. Wilder’s classic comedy shows that love and adventure should be encouraged at any age.
