Electric vehicles are on the rise and ready to hit the road. Yet in order to run, electric vehicles need a dependable charging system. Success Charging is on its way to becoming a global leader in the business of recharging electric vehicles.
Chaz Harris is a 2000 graduate of Hamburg High School and attended Buffalo State with a degree in sales management. He is currently the New York business development manager for Success Charging and handles business in several other states.
The charging market consists of manufacturing, designing and selling charging systems and ultimately provides clean electricity for “green” cars. Success Charging aims to secure one million electric vehicle charging spaces throughout Europe and North America. They are currently investing heavily in more global implementation.
An electric charging system may only be used for an electric powered vehicle. It is similar to how a gas station works for a regular gas guzzling vehicle. It is easy, convenient and necessary of an electric vehicle owner. A person in need for a charge must reserve an electric vehicle designated parking spot, plug the charger in, and wait between one hour to five hours, depending on the need of the charge. Once the charging is complete, an alert is sent to the owner’s mobile device and they are on their way. The cost for a charge may range from $3 to $5, depending on the area.
Harris’ interest in electric vehicle charging systems stems from his belief that the green movement promises a bright future. His look into the future led him to pursue success in this “green” department.
“The electric vehicle is set to take off within the next ten years. It is a bigger and better movement,” Harris said.
Not only does this type of system help with the green movement, it also benefits participating companies. Harris mentioned the great relationship he has built with several hotels and companies who rely on Success Charging’s product.
“The property owner receives a portion of the profit and does not have to pay for a station.” Harris said.
Harris also said that the electric charging business is beginning to move slowly into the east coast, but it is all part of the process. Toyota, Ford, Chevy, and Mitsubishi are already in talk of producing new and improved electric vehicles.
Harris is experiencing much success in this field and with Success Charging. He works with different municipalities, colleges and developing companies that wish to implement this new technology to their properties. Harris is currently top in his sales and is helping lead the company in the right direction.
“Companies are excited about this because it draws value to their business,” Harris said.
Success Charging has a large global presence and is distributed in eleven different countries. Harris is proud to be a part of the successful and up and coming business.
