Macedonian Festival to be held July 12-14

People of Western New York and Southern Ontario are invited to the twenty-third annual Macedonian Festival to celebrate the rich heritage of Buffalo’s Macedonian Community. This event will be held July 12-14 on the grounds of Sts. Cyril & Methody Macedonian Orthodox Church, 4785 Lake Avenue, between Abbott Road and McKinley Parkway in Blasdell.
The Festival will feature traditional Macedonian Foods, Music, and Dance Performances. There will be continuous entertainment provided by Macedonian Bands and Dance Group Performers from Canada and the United States. Ethnic foods include Macedonian style “Open Pit” roasted lambs, kebobs, chicken & more; plus homemade baklava, strudels, and many other Macedonian pastries, cookies, desserts and specialties.
The Festival is open to the public. Hours are from 5pm to 1a.m. Friday, July 12, 11 a.m. to 1a.m. Saturday, July 13 and 1 p.m. to 11pm Sunday, July 14. The Macedonian Festival is a fun event the entire family will enjoy. It’s a great opportunity to experience the sights, sounds and tastes of another culture. The Western New York community is invited to come hungry, come thirsty and grab their dancing shoes and learn to dance Macedonian.
