A tradition continues: Buffalo Choral Arts Society returns to Hamburg

HAMBURG — The Buffalo Choral Arts Society, named the best vocal ensemble in Buffalo for the past two years, by “Artvoice,” will return to Saints Peter & Paul Roman Catholic Church in Hamburg to present “A Caroling Christmas.”

This award-winning, 110-voice community chorus will be presented under the direction of Marcia Giambrone.

“A Caroling Christmas” will be held at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 6 at the church, located at 66 E. Main St. in Hamburg.

The BCAS will perform a repertoire of Christmas carols and sacred carols from composers such as John Rutter and Mack Wilberg, with arrangements by Robert Shaw, Harry Simeone and others.

The society is now in its 48th season. This year’s concert will also be presented at the Eastern Hills Wesleyan Church and Saint Joseph Cathedral.
