Thursday August 15, 2013 | By:The Sun Staff | Sports
Frontier Central Schools will soon begin tryouts for the 2013 fall sports season. No athlete will be able to tryout or receive equipment until all eligibility requirements are met. Athletes must have a current physical exam or health appraisal, parent permission form completed, sports participation form completed, school health screening, additional medical information if applicable and a white emergency card, which is the student’s ‘ticket’ to tryouts.
The high school will be closed until Aug. 30, so all sports physicals and updates must be completed at the middle school. Tryout start dates for most high school sports is Monday, Aug. 19, for modified football, Monday, Aug. 26, and for all other modified sports, Thursday, Aug. 29 or later. For more information, call 926-1704 or check the school website at www.frontier.wnyric.org.
