Gliding Stars Ice Skating Program has honored Beth Moll as the Saturday Adult Volunteer of the Year. Moll has been a volunteer with Gliding Stars for more than 17 years. She started out on the ice with her son and daughter. She is on the ice every week encouraging the stars to do their best and to help them accomplish their goals of learning the advanced routines that they skate to each year. Not only does Moll volunteer on the ice, she also volunteers off the ice by sewing amazing and beautiful costumes for the Group 3 level skaters in Hamburg.
Gliding Stars also honored Todd Tomaselli as the Saturday Youth Volunteer of the Year. Tomaselli started with the ice skating program at 6-years-old; he was a motivator for his older sister Marisa. After two years of encouraging her, he became one of the youngest volunteers for Gliding Stars. He is now 10-years-old in the Frontier School District and encourages many of the new young stars today. When Tomaselli is not skating, he can be found volunteering at the soccer program. He is also a Cub Scout on his way to Boy Scout this year, and also enjoys wrestling, baseball and football.
