Youth Soccer: Jozwiak, Mulderig help Knights U-12 to State Cup final four


Pictured above top, Aaron Jozwiak and Liam Mulderig (directly above) helped lead the NY Premier Soccer Knights at the State Cup.

Aaron Jozwiak and Liam Mulderig, both from the Town of Hamburg play for the New York Premier Soccer Knights, who competed at SUNY Cortland during the weekend of May 31 to June 2, playing in the semifinal round of the State Cup.

The U-12 Knights, who have been in existence within the area for three years, are the first within the organization to reach the State Cup final four games, after defeating Empire Rochester and Webster Dynamo in play down games. The Knights played three games and finished the tournament on a high note by defeating Baldwinsville 2-0 and finishing third. The team is also currently undefeated within the New York State West Thruway League.

Jozwiak scored the first goal from a beautiful cross from the left wing to put the Knights ahead in the first half.Later during the second half, Mulderig put Baldwinsville away by completinga great finish off of a deflection in front of the net.
