St. Francis High School recently announced that 14 additional student-athletes will continue their sports careers in college. The following members of the class of 2014 will play college sports: Brett Benzinger — Mercyhurst College lacrosse, Salvatore Carroccia — Hilbert College baseball, Cory Cullen — Canisius College golf, Scott Dosser — Clarkson University lacrosse, Tyler Eister — Hilbert College soccer, Joshua Fisher — Bethany College football, Brennan Macey — Geneseo track and field, Matt Michalski — Cortland baseball, Michael Prentice — Fredonia baseball, Robert Prentki and David Santana — Hilbert College lacrosse, Scott Webber — Alfred University football, Darrick Weyrough — University at Buffalo track and field and Brad Whitford — Alfred University lacrosse. Earlier this year, five St. Francis seniors signed their letters of intent to play college football. Running back Alex Misterman, Jarrett Dolegala and Jordan Zakroczemski all signed with Mercyhurst, while Brian Melisz will attend Cortland, John Sorgi, John Carroll, and Brenden Fitzpatrick, Bethany College. Misterman will also play lacrosse at Mercyhurst.
